Brene Brown 'The Power of Vulnerability"

Vulnerability is the quality or state of being exposed to the possibility of hurt or harm, physically and/or emotionally. Although it doesn’t sound like a good state to be in, it’s probably the best state you can ever be in. To be vulnerable means that you have something special enough in your life or you love something so much, that you’re willing to risk it all. You’re willing to get hurt and take the darker road of the two because the way you feel overpowers everything else. To be vulnerable means you are happy. You are seen for who you really are and you allow yourself to be potentially hurt. For example, I had someone in my life for five years that I was very vulnerable towards. I overlooked all the negative aspects and I invested my whole life in him because of the way he made me feel. Vulnerability can be good if you let it be good, it can change your whole life.

Brene Brown describes it first as a connection. She says connection is why we are here, it gives us purpose and meaning to our life. She then goes into explaining why people are fearful or shameful. They’re scared of what others may think of them. However, it is just a sense of worthiness and belonging. If you believe you are worthy and loved, you can move mountains.
In order to be connected, you have to let go of the person you think you are and just be who you are! You have to be willing to be vulnerable and open to anything. Brene Brown has definitely inspired me in many ways. The way she relates fear to vulnerability and gives such good examples was a very strong point of hers. After watching this, she makes me not want to be scared of anything. I always have my guard up but how far is that really going to get me? You cannot selectively numb emotions, gratitude, or happiness. You just have to run with it.

There were several points that Brown made that I can connect to what I’ve learned in psychology. At the beginning of her speech, she says “When you ask people about love, they tell you about heartbreak. When you ask people about belonging, they’ll tell you their most excruciating experiences of being excluded and when you ask people about connection, they tell you stories about disconnection.” This is because humans have the tendency to hold onto pain. We’ve all been through something that has significantly impacted our lives and there’s just something about it that makes us so obsessive about holding onto it. Maybe it’s because it was a time in our lives when we felt vulnerable. We let ourselves be seen deeply and that’s one of the most beautiful things there is to life.

I really loved this speech by Robbins, I believe he says decisions and the way you spend your time is how successful you are. Everyone is different, especially their values but state also affects the quality of life you have, we all need certainty and love and contribution. The main concept is which needs are your top needs and how you can help focus on your own state, like being loved and having significance. You have life on your own terms and manifest your skill sets.
He presuades me because it is not all about success, it doesn’t bring happiness or love, you need fulfillment for yourself and if you are successful but not happy it is not for you. Success without fulfillment is the altimate failure and I really do agree. Robbins makes me realize that his message is to always make the right decisions that make YOU happy not anyone else. If you realize you are suffering you need to turn it around and end it yourself for your own life. He used amazing skills and examples throughout the speech, such as knowledge, connection, and complete passion. You can only do this for yourself. Bad things can happen but you can decide no matter what happens you can find joy. Decide today.

I liked Tony Robbins’ speech because of the message being delivered. In essence, Tony states that there are six needs every human has being certainty, uncertainty, significance, love, growth, and contribution. There is no balance system for these traits and instead you as a person have the power to determine which ones control your life. If you focus too much on one trait in life, then it is going affect you as a person either positively or negatively. The best time for change isn’t in the future, it is right now while you have a chance to make a difference. People can be successful, but as Tony states, “success without fulfillment is failure” which means that your actions need to make yourself happy otherwise they are pointless.
Tony’s speech has persuaded me to think more positively and learn to appreciate my achievements based on my passions rather than my blinding self-obsessions. If I were to live a more harmonious life that focuses on the joys rather than success, I would have a rich life. It’s hard to make the decision in the moment when you live life comparing yourself to others. What I want and seek to do in the future I can start doing right now by any means possible for my own self benefit.
I believe that Tony’s use of rhetoric is based on logos persuading his audience with facts that there is a reason to start change. Throughout his speech, he continuously makes real life comparisons of people and present a solution that he knows will make things better. Well organized and ingenious statements are part of Tony’s success as a speaker and as a person who lives life with wealth. His talent with words makes for great communication with a large audience of people that need redirection in their life.

I enjoyed Tony Robbins speech due to the passion and message he was trying to get across. The state we are in will tells us how our life is going so far and if we will reach our main goal. He says, “Our whole lives are guided moment to moment by the state we’re in.”, which I found very powerful. Learning to change for the better will behoove yourself indefinitely. There are different goals people would like to achieve and Tony Robbin states the six human needs to reach our goal. He states that we can end suffering by focusing not on ourselves, but something even greater than ourselves.
Tony Robbins persuaded me that it is all about the joy and happiness that is important to have self-satisfaction. Sometimes it is alright to fail because you learn, grow, and change from it. You become a better person to others and yourself if you incorporate more love and positivity into your life. I want to grow and learn more as a person and fulfill my dreams by taking one step at a time. As stated by Tony Robbins, “success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure.”
I feel Tony Robbins uses pathos because of his word choice and tone. You can tell he was sincere and wants to help others out to reach their goals and aspirations. He incorporates that when things do not turn out as expected that you should still always find joy in life. His passion in his speeches really make it interesting and encourages you to do better for yourself.

  5. The speech by Tony Robbins was very powerful and really made me think about everything in life, not just mine but also the people I have around me, their lives as well. Robbins states that there are six needs that every human has; the first is certainty which is feeling secure about the future and what will happen next, uncertainty which is the desire to experience something different so we don't feel bored or dead inside, significance is to feel important, love, growth and contribution.
I think that the way our lives turn out to be is mainly based upon the decisions we make. What we choose to believe, what we choose to do when we feel a certain way, and by doing that we would ultimately be able to live a more happier life. I really liked the example he gave about Robin Williams, he stated that Robin Williams was a very successful guy that won many different awards and was in a lot of different movies but he ended up hanging himself. The reason for that is because he wasn't happy about himself and was dealing with a lot of issues like drug and alcohol abuse so it really is about the decisions you make that lead to the type of life you want to live and only we have the ability to change or control that. I think that the main idea of the speech is that no matter what we do we have to be motivated to continue to strive for happiness because it very rare to find. He uses the example that our brains are a 2 million year old device that was designed to help us survive, so we have to find happiness on our own. He also said that you could be the richest and most successful man in the world but still not be happy with life on the inside.
Tony's rhetoric is very powerful in this speech he uses ethos, pathos, logos to engage his audience. He uses ethos when giving the example about Robin Williams. He used a lot of logos by persuading the audience with his facts and studies. Pathos is used a lot in his speech through his tone, the way he speaks makes his audience feel inspired and motivated. It certainly gives him credibility by establishing confidence when he speaks. He even goes on to explain how he's obsessed with finding people who are genuinely happy, so he goes and travels all over the world to find answers and conduct studies, I found it interesting when he said that the really poor village.

I really enjoyed Brene Brown's speech on vulnerability. She has a great tone of voice and uses small jokes to keep her audience engaged. Vulnerability is the idea that "in order for connection to happen, we have to allow ourselves to be seen." I believe there are benefits to being vulnerable. As Brown stated, vulnerability takes courage, compassion, and connection. I feel that these are really great character traits to have as a person and being vulnerable is beneficial because you can learn to be strong.

I thought that the fact she wanted to take the concept of vulnerability and break it down was really interesting as it is such a complex feeling. She spent 6 years looking into this with so much data and didn't give up over that time. I thought that her finding the only thing separating the people who felt love and belonging and those who didn't was worthiness. It seems so simple but I feel that if we all just tell ourselves we are worthy that we can feel that sense of love and belonging. I feel that this was really inspiring.

When Brown talks about her professor saying "If you can't measure it, it doesn't exist." I've learned this a lot in science in the past. She also mentions wanting to take something messy and making it not messy which reminds me a lot of psychology. She likes helping others as do I, and this resonated with me as an aspiring psychologist. I also thought the story about her seeing a therapist was really relatable because I'm learning about a lot of these topics and it helps me to understand the jokes she's making and her purpose behind them. I overall enjoyed her speech a lot and would want to watch more of hers in the future because they are funny and inspiring.

Tony Robbins is one of my most favorite speakers from this class. His information shared throughout this speech was truly captivating and entertaining. The fundamental premise of his speech in my opinion is both decision and state. He talks about life decisions to better yourself and your loved ones, and also talks about mentality and spirituality which falls under state. His whole speech is about how people, no matter how much money or how successful, will never feel completely satisfied until they can feel love and give. Robbins states that we should all learn to master aspects of our lives, and not just “dabble.” Robbins even made me take a step back and really think about my own life. I believe it's a combination of his tone, vernacular, and presentation that really makes a listener pay every bit of attention to what he is saying. His rhetoric skills are very professional. Using the tools listed before, Robbins is able to persuade his listeners with ease. After listening to the speech, I realized I have some self evaluating to do with my own life. If most listeners are like me, they'd agree that Tony Robbins is an excellent speaker because of his expertise in persuasion.

  8. Tony Robbins points out in this video that many people have their priorities in the wrong place. The reason that people are unsuccessful is that they don’t master their goals. Only dabbling in different trivial things does not bring someone success, if that’s what they want.
In my opinion, if dabbling makes one happy and content with one’s life, they should do it. However, Robbins beautifully explains that too many people want something more out of life and still continue to dabble. He strongly tells viewers that you can make the DECISION to live in a joyful state, no matter where you are physically in life. If you can master spirituality, you can be content and thus give freely to those in need.
Robbins, as usual, is a persuasion aficionado; he uses very specific examples to demonstrate his points so that the listener can relate and understand. I especially liked his example of Victor Frankl finding joy in the middle of Auschwitz. The story proves that everyone has the capacity to “live in a beautiful state” no matter how unsuccessful they are.

Robbins says that the most important thing is that you should use your time wisely. Spend your time by putting your energy into doing important things like mastering money and building meaningful relationships, instead of catching up on the new celebrity gossip. Robbins explains that a lot of people aren’t like this, but when he meets these people that are happy, fulfilled, spiritually alive, financially strong, and passionate in relationships, he wants to learn what they’re doing that’s different from the average person, and teach it to everyone. He also says that throughout his travels around the world, everyone has the same problems, and that everyone has the same six human needs. These needs are certainty/security, uncertainty/variety, significance, love, growth, and contribution. However, everyone values these things at different levels. Someone who is driven by certainty is going to have a completely different life than someone who is driven by love, and that is what makes us unique. Robbins says that you need to pinpoint what the person is driven by, and then what rules they follow in order to achieve whatever their goal is. Once you determine that, you can figure out if they are living a healthy vs unhealthy life, and then you can begin to make some changes. In addition, he says that no matter where you are in life, it’s about the decisions you make, not the conditions we may meet. Essentially, this means that you hold inside all of the decisions of what to do, what to believe in, and what to give. And above all, the most important decision you can ever make, is deciding that no matter what happens in your life, you will live in a beautiful state. He explains that once you decide to stop suffering (worrying about mundane things) and focus on the things that make you happy (kids, spouse, etc.) you will be able to exist in this “beautiful state”. I feel like Tony Robbins is a really great speaker, and I always walk away feeling inspired. He definitely persuaded me to try and work on changing my way of thinking, so that I feel positive about any situation, no matter what is going on. I think that Robbins’ rhetoric appeals to pathos. He knows how to make the audience feel comfortable, and he speaks so smoothly that it feels like you’re having a conversation with him. He establishes such a strong relationship right away in his speeches, and continues to build the relationship throughout the speech by explaining how he applies this way of thinking to his own life. Overall, he is a really great speaker and definitely has mastered all aspects of public speaking.

Throughout his speech, Tony Robins has motivated me, along with others too. He starts off with a flashback describing how Robin Williams was one of the funniest people in existence. How he made everyone laugh as a national treasure. He made people laugh, and feel touched. He was also voted for having the #1 show, he was a great comedian, he had his own tv show. wanted an award for not being funny. People say that he had dementia, that he abused drugs and alcohol during his life; that this is what killed him. Tony Robins concluded the fact that he ended up committing suicide because he himself was not happy. That man has committed the ultimate failure, by being too fed up and busy trying to make everyone else happy that he lost track of what matter the most, he has to be happy.
He then goes into support this analogy into his main idea that one can only be happy on the inside because of their different values. These values include certainty, uncertainty, variety, significance, and to feel loved. All of these lead up to him describing the long term goal about feeling fulfilled.
The quintessence of this speech is a person who is happy with themselves on the inside. He has he persuaded me to think how to live my life happier. This can be done by enjoying the moment.

Tony Robbin's speech was very motivating and moving. He made me think about things I did not realize there were problems with in my life. We have been taught since a young age that the choices we make will follow us throughout our lives. What people don’t tell us is that we should also make our own decisions because at the end of the day, our happiness matters most. That concept for me is something I have been fighting with for many years. I have chosen to put other people’s happiness in front of my own and at the end of the day, I still suffer. For the future, I will take other’s advice into consideration but in the end, it is my choice and my life to live.

Tony Robins has persuaded me to remember that personal happiness is more important that money or stature. I never wanted to be the richest person in the world, I just want enough to live comfortably with my family. I also have to change my mindset when other’s try and comment on the way I am living my life, especially with the world the way it is today. His story about Robbin Williams was moving because no matter how happy someone looks on the outside, you will never know the truth they choose to hide behind closed doors. I have been depressed at points of my life and even contemplated suicide more because of the people around me and how I felt like I was not living up to their expectations. I have gotten to a better head space and I am doing what I want and pursuing a major I can see myself doing for the rest of my life rather than the major my mother wanted me to follow.

Robbin’s use of ethos made the speech easy to follow. You can see his passion on helping people discover the “truth” in their own lives. With pathos, he shared how he spent time with the people in Fiji and how they had true happiness. He also used Robbin Williams as a prime example of how sacrificing your own happiness for others could be deadly. Overall, this speech is something that I will look back on when I need a pick-me-up or I am questioning choices in life.

  12. I really enjoyed Tony Robbins speech, his tone really helped me sooth into the speech. He is like a motivational speaker. Just by the way he talks. This speech did inspire me. He goes on to say do what's best for you, not others. He really has a way with his words.
He is also very organized. Tony seems like he cares about others and wants to spread his words. There are 7-8 categories that matter in a persons life. He goes into depth with all of them. He says that some people who succeed and aren't happy should find something that makes us happy. He wants everyone to be happy, all the time, life's too short to be not happy.

I loved Tony Robbins speech because the message really stands out to me. Those who are dedicated to things whether it is a relationship or a business, it's a "critical skillset". Mr. Robbins states that there are six needs we all require those are certainty, uncertainty, significance, love, growth, and contribution. Which of these necessities are going to make you the most happy and that's the ones you need to focus on, your lifes destination can be seen by Tony based on how you list your importance. Tony Robbins speech definitely was well delivered, and really got me thinking about what is going to make my life the happiest and what do I value more than others.

I enjoyed Tony Robbins' speech because it gives everyone an important lesson that can apply to every single person in the world. Even if you are successful it doesn't mean that you will be happy in life and feel fulfilled in life. I loved it when he described Robin Williams in his speech, he mentioned that he got all his life's achievements in that he got to make movies, had a number one tv show and he got to make people laugh. Even to Robin had all of this he still decided to commit suicide because he wasn’t happy with himself. Tony Robbins speaks in a great tone that all listeners would enjoy because it is deep and passionate to really get the listener to reflect on themselves. Another part I liked about his speech was at the very end when he mentioned the people in Fiji. He said that they live in poverty and they still find a way to always be happy and laugh all the time because they value fulfillment over unfulfilling success. I also like how he mentioned the six things that all people in life need and where they value them decides what will become of their lives in the years to come. The six things are certainty/security, uncertainty/variety, significance, love, growth, and contribution. If a person can master all six of these things, their quality of life will instantly increase. Lastly, I believe that Tony Robbins is a very persuasive speaker, when listening to him he made me reflect on my own life and my decisions/choices that i've made in the past to get me to where I am currently today.

  15. Tony Robbins speech is an ideal representation of how individuals see and portray themselves. Individuals have their priorities mixed, everyone doesn’t need to have the same priorities but in today society like Robbins said people are faking their lives for social media to show who they want to be and not who they are. The way we utilize our time is very essential because time is something we can’t get back, so we must set our priorities straight and make sure we are happy with what we have and happy with ourselves. Like Robbins mentioned, you can achieve everything in your life and still be unhappy, working on our achievement is a great accomplishment but your health and happiness (are you fulfilled?) is what really matters at the end. “Success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure”, I totally agree with this statement he made because what is the point of doing something if you don’t feel fulfilled by it? His story of the villagers in Fiji is a perfect example of Happiness without all the wealth. Happiness is key. Robbins goes on to talk about DECISION, everything in our life is a decision, we must decide on the best path we see fit to follow, should I do this or not. The decisions we make everyday impacts our lives, so let’s make decisions for the success and happiness in the long, and not the short run. Finally. Robbins mentions the 6 human needs which are: certainty/security, uncertainty/variety, significance, love, growth, and contribution. These are interesting needs but make a lot of sense. I personally feel like certainty/security is the main need because we as individuals are afraid of failure, before we do anything, we want the certainty/security that it will be successful. Certainty increases our decision to do certain things, so I think DECISION and CERTAINTY goes hand to hand.
I always thought that with happiness you can achieve anything you want and listening to this speech just reinforced that ideology. Robbins delivery is always outstanding, he is not just speaking but he is engaging in a conversation with the interviewer and connecting him to his speech. His ability to implement ethos, pathos, and logos in his speeches just shows how much of a people’s person he is. No wonder why millions of people attend his seminars and ask him for understanding.

  16. As I listened to Brene Brown’s speech, I could not help but feel surprised. After finding out she was a social worker, it was shocking to me to hear her definition of living life was to control and predict it. Whenever I think of social workers, I always think of them telling people to be vulnerable, to feel comfortable, to let down your guard and show emotion. When she found out vulnerability meant you had to stop controlling your life and let yourself admit you need help, she had what she called a “breakdown.” It took her time to realize she was one of the many people who struggled with vulnerability.

Personally, vulnerability is something you feel when you are comfortable with someone. Whether it be a significant other, a family member, or a friend; being vulnerable with them is allowing yourself to let your guard down and show emotion. Sometimes we’re too afraid of crying or admitting we need help because the thought of visibly displaying it can be embarrassing. I believe there are benefits to being vulnerable. If you are able to show your vulnerable side to someone, it is a crucial way of developing a connection. If I am able to show my emotions and tell someone how I am really feeling instead of lying about it, that proves I really trust the person. Brown’s speech motivated me and made me realize that it is okay to be vulnerable. It is completely okay to ask people for help if there is nowhere else to turn. In a world full of insecurity, it was reassuring to hear that being vulnerable is not a bad thing.

Brown made many connections I had learned in my classes at school and through many current events. One connection, in particular, was her expressing her struggle with vulnerability. In psychology, we are taught that vulnerability is one of the many emotions a human possesses. We might not always express this emotion due to the insecurity of embarrassing oneself by showing it to someone else. This is something that is very common amongst teenagers, but insecurity does not have an age limit. We all feel as though it is easier to bottle up our emotions rather than let others help us. It is okay to be vulnerable and Brene Brown sums that up perfectly in her speech.

  17. Tony Robbins’ speech seems to be centered around how our decisions effect our lives. The biggest main point to this speech in my opinion is how people have different beliefs/ rules in their lives. We all six human needs and Robbins said they were certainty/ security, uncertainty/ variety, significance, love, growth, and contribution. Robbins was able to combine both the main point with making decisions by saying in life we pick one of these six needs to be the most important and that steers our lives. While that is the case and people will obviously pick the same need we aren’t all the same because we all set different rules for how to lives or lived. For instance, two students can both live their lives chasing being significant but one needs to get straight As while the other is thrilled that he got a B. After watching this speech Robbins has persuaded me to think about, we all have the same basic needs but can be so different. Before watching this speech, I never thought about the six needs. Robbins was able to show this with only his words, through the various examples he gave. Throughout this speech Robbins’ greatest asset was his voice. To be specific the tone of his voice. By constantly changing the pitch of his voice as he spook Robbins was able to hold my attention throughout his entire speech. It also made the information resignation better because of his ability to hold my attention. Overall, Robbins set out with a goal and I believe he achieved it.

After watching Tony Robbins speech, I believe that it is a mix of decision and state. The decisions you make ultimately form your life whether it has to do with your career path or something as simple as deciding if you want to go for a run or not. These decisions are cause of your state mentally or physically. I liked hwo in the beginning when he mentioned how people with millions of dollars that have millions of fans are often angry sad and frustrated. I believe this has to do with the fact that the decisions they have made throughout their life have caused them to be in the state they are in right now.
The quintessence of his speech that you should always live what you believe. If you believe your purpose is to help people, or do be a teacher, you should follow the path that leads to that. What you believe is often what you think is right and essentially what makes you feel good. Therefore, living how you believe by making the right decisions that you stand by, will help you to be in a better state of mind and living, unlike the millionaires Tony Robbins spoke of who were filled with anger and sadness. Growing is the ultimate part of being in a state of fufillness
Tony Robbins speech truly inspired me to think differently about life and how I go about everyday. Growing each and everyday in a positive impact molds a person into feeling fulfilled. When he spoke of social media and how significance is more important than love really opened my eyes. As a teen I see first hand how people care more about how other people see them rather then how they feel and see themselves. The skillset to help others and having a positive impact on the world is going do be done only through being fufilled with yourself.

In Tim Robbins speech, he dives into a person characteristic. One of these characteristics is their perception on decisions. He talks about how decisions can play a key role in our day to day lives. From the poorest to the richest man in the world they are all come to understanding that life guides you based on decisions. Whenever person comes to choosing a path to guide their future, it’s based on that person to make the right decision for the company, family, community, etc.
However, Robbins explains that sometimes they don’t take the time to think for themselves. For example, Actor Robin Williams was a man who devoted himself to the people with his films and television career. Tragically, what the people didn’t know about him was how many problems he had which lead to him hanging himself in his short life. People must. Make the decisions in order to propel them into a happier life. That is what the quintessence of the speech in guiding on what gets life or a person going, with their decisions. That what creates the person who you are destined to be.
The whole speech persuaded me to think of how to look at other people. When I see someone, I think may be successful, they might look back and think I’m wrong. Goals and dreams differ for people and so some might consider myself successful based on my health or family. Based on how Robbins gave his speech, he made me think on his words based on his reasoning and examples he was able to explain. He persuaded on the audience to look at others’ lives and look back on what he has witnessed. He has calm collected tone in his speech that gave the experience more of relaxation that you’re wanting to hear more from him. Overall, it’s a good speech to keep as a reasoning resource when it comes to life skills.

I really liked Tony Robbins speech. His speech was about people's ability to be happy and being able to do that while doing something they love.He talks about how people often have their priorities wrong.Their prime concern is money and how to get it but money doesn't bring happiness to them.Since they are just making money their priority they just dabble into things and aren't consistent with what their doing.Which lead them to being inconsistent with the things they do and they and they aren't able to master anything.
This is why most people fail and aren't able to happy. The reason I think he is a good speaker is because he shows his passion in what he speaks about. He has really good points and you can tell that he understands what he's talking about and actually wants to inform the listener with the points he's giving.
It persuaded me to think about the things I really want to do with my life. The things I really want to do with my life and what i'm honestly passionate about how I am going to be able to accomplish that.He makes people think if what they're doing is something that's gonna be fulfilling to them in the end and make them happy. Just because you're doing something right now that will end up making you successful doesn't mean it will make you happy.

Tony Robbins speech struck out to me first because of how well he projected his voice at first. Aside from that, I like how he talked about the different priorities between different people. While yes some people can be "successful" they may not be fulfilling themselves by not helping or impacting others or maintaining healthy relationships, which leads to their sadness. It personally hit me because I value significance over many things. That being said, I believe in decisions over state.

One thing he has persuaded me on is thinking more about the state of my current relationships. I keep my head straight and into my work when I want something, but doing so, tend to overlook the relationships I have going right now for the sake of concentrating. A successful life without healthy relationships can lead to a dark and empty life in my opinion.

  22. Robbins has a great speech mentioning how people have broken priorities in today's world. The reason people fail in life is that they are unmotivated, and do not apply themselves in their main craft but instead try to perfect useless things or the wrong things. Dabbling, which means to take part in another craft or activity in a slight fashion, can be great for the mind and soul of a person if done correctly. It is always good to get a break and try something else. For me personally I “dabble” in basketball. I might not be good but I still play to have fun and a refresh from wrestling.

Robbins too is a perfectionist at a persuasive speech. He brings up concrete points that captivated the people and reminds people that even in times like WWII Germany in Auschwitz, people still find joy. The message is that people have the ability to be in pure bliss with their life no matter what.

I personally really enjoyed Tony Robbins' speech. He talks about how no matter how much money you have or if you’re successful or not, it does not need to apply to your happiness. Happiness can come from many things and what's important is that you make sure to find your happiness.
What really struck a chord with me was when he brought up Robin Williams. Robin Williams had such a huge impact on my childhood and was devastated when he passed away back in 2014. Robin Williams made everyone happy except himself. Self love is very important and should be taken more seriously.
Tony Robbins is very inspiring with his words and says everything with such confidence. No matter what you do in life, you should always do what makes you happy and act as if it's your last day on earth...that is something I have taken from Robbins speech and will forever be inspired by.

Tony Robbins goes in depth about knowing yourself and your priorities. He talks about you being happy with yourself and what you do as it can come up somewhere else in your life. He talks about the rich people having all the money, but at the same time lacking something else whether its personality or relationship and it will lead to you being sad. He also talks about knowing yourself and your development. He says more people know about celebrities going in and out of rehab but don't know what's best for themselves.

He definitely made me think about my values in life and what i'm doing to make myself happy vs other people which is really important. Focusing on yourself and your growth as a person can help you see eye to eye with many things and give you a better understanding of things.
