Topic: Shelter Animals (Possible other topic: benefits of working out, or eating healthy)

For many of us, our pets bring so much joy to our lives. But for millions of cats and dogs who are out on the streets, abandoned, and stuck in shelters, they aren't as fortunate.

Approximately 2.7 million dogs and cats get put down every year due to shelters being too full or not enough adoptive homes. Some of the main reasons for so many animals being in shelters is because owners give them up or they are found on the streets.
