SOME IDEAS TO GET OVER NERVOUSNESS...

PRACTICE:

  • ASK A FRIEND, FAMILY MEMBERS, GROUP OF PEOPLE TO LISTEN TO YOUR SPEECH. GET FEEDBACK BASED ON SKILL AND CONTENT
  • TIME  YOURSELF
  • VIDEO RECORD YOURSELF
  • VOICE RECORD YOURSELF
  • GO OVER YOUR WELL -DEVELOPED TYPED FORMAL OUTLINE
  • PREPARE WELL DEVELOPED TALKING POINTS
  • PRACTICE SPEAKING WITH BOTH VISUALS
  • THINK ABOUT YOUR INTRODUCTION - IS IT A COMPELLING INTRO?

  • THINK OF YOURSELF AS A CONFIDENT AND ARTICULATE SPEAKER
  • KEEP IN MIND ALWAYS THAT OUR CLASS ROOM IS A WARM AND FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. YOUR PEERS ARE  YOUR FRIENDS AND YOUR TEACHER IS YOUR COACH. YOU WILL DO WELL BECAUSE YOU WANT TO DO WELL AND BECAUSE YOU STRIVE TO DO WELL. ALWAYS THINK OF YOURSELF AS A WINNER!
