Please Read Chapter 5 "Choosing A Topic" by Lucas
In your notebook - Brainstorm Ideas for a possible topic you may want to speak about in class.
Think about "What you already know" and "What you want to learn about".
Use a cluster, T-Chart, or Free list words, places, businesses, interests or ideas that interest you.
Please Note- The Informative Speech will require Research and References (Works Cited)
REminder - You will not need to turn in an outline a week before. YOU Will hand in ONE outline the DAY Of your performance. You will not need an annotated bibliography. You will provide references (Works Cited) directly on your Formal OUtline - SEE OUTLINE Format

You will watch Achor and Duckworth Speeches for HW on Monday 10/1
In addition you will READ Ch 5 & Chapter 15 - To keep you up to date following our 10/1 class.
We will work in Groups on 10/3 to implement skills in Introduction and building points.
It is a bit of a deep dive to catch up.. but Stay Strong! We will get there Together!
